Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
8+ years of software development experience.
5+ years of healthcare IT experience.
Prior experience leading or mentoring technical teams.
Strong experience with healthcare EDI/X12 transaction processing and integration workflows.
Strong SQL Server and T-SQL development experience.
Experience with Azure API Management and Azure integration technologies.
Strong experience with Python and Django frameworks.
Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
Strong understanding of SDLC, application architecture, and operational support processes.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, enhancement, and support of enterprise healthcare applications and integration solutions.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to developers and technical staff.
Establish development standards, coding practices, SDLC processes, and technical governance.
Review technical designs, code quality, and solution architecture.
Support operational issue resolution and provide guidance during production incidents.
Coordinate development priorities and technical assignments across the team.
Develop and support healthcare EDI/X12 transaction processing.
Design and develop RESTful APIs leveraging Azure API Management and Azure cloud technologies.
Build and support Python/Django-based web applications and backend services.
Support interoperability and healthcare data exchange initiatives involving APIs, EDI, and operational systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex application, integration, and data issues.
Support automation and modernization initiatives across the IT organization.
