Job summary

Health and Hospital Corporation is seeking an experienced software developer to lead the design and implementation of complex health IT systems, including Windows and web services, HL7 interfaces, and secure APIs. You will collaborate with project managers and analysts to gather requirements, mentor developers, and guide architecture decisions.

The role emphasizes scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions with emphasis on CI/CD, testing, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required and at least 6 years software development experience.
• Healthcare/Health Department/Hospital experience highly desired.
• Ability to work with REST/SOAP, MS SQL Server; GitHub and Visual Studio proficiency.
• Experience with .NET Core/Blazor, ReactJS, containerization; Healthcare Interfaces (HL7/X12/FHIR) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, testing, implementation, integration, deployment, maintenance, and enhancement of complex software applications and interfaces.
• Meet with clients, analysts, and stakeholders to evaluate requests and modify systems.
• Translate requirements into detailed designs; present designs to stakeholders for review and approval.
• Serve as technical lead on projects and recommend architecture, frameworks, and solutions.
• Develop APIs, web services, databases, and healthcare interfaces; ensure security and scalability.
