Job summary

CVS Health seeks a senior software architect/engineer to design and implement digital solutions for Payer Operations. You will integrate cloud services with clinical systems and enterprise data platforms, ensuring scalable, reliable data workflows and governance.

You will collaborate with product and business teams, drive data quality improvements, and explore AI‑enabled automation to optimize payer metadata and lifecycle contracts.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Dimensional data modeling, schema design, and data warehousing experience.
• Programming in SQL, Python, and related languages for cloud and on‑prem data warehousing.

Responsibilities

• Architect end‑to‑end integration patterns bridging cloud-native SaaS, Epic EMR, and data platform.
• Conduct testing, debugging, and code reviews to ensure reliability and scalability.
• Act as technical consultant to product and business leads; refine requirements and patterns.
• Explore AI/ML tools to drive automation and smarter workflows.
• Create and maintain system designs, diagrams, and governance documentation.
