Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a senior data engineer to design, develop, and implement digital solutions for Payer operations, focusing on metadata enrichment, contract automation, and performance measurement.

You will build end-to-end integration patterns across cloud-native SaaS and on-prem systems, lead cross-functional collaborations, and explore AI/ML tools to drive smarter automation while upholding security and governance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience with SQL and relational databases
• Hands-on with dimensional data modeling and data warehousing
• Programming in SQL/Python to support cloud/on-prem warehousing
• Troubleshooting data issues and performance improvements
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Architect end-to-end integration patterns bridging cloud-native SaaS, Epic EMR, data platform, and other domains
• Conduct testing, debugging, and code reviews to ensure reliability and scalability
• Act as technical consultant to Product and Business leads; refine requirements and propose patterns
• Explore AI/ML tools to drive smarter automation in development processes
• Create and maintain system designs, diagrams, and governance for self-service platforms
• Work independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
