Job summary

Tines is looking for a software engineer to enable federal customers in AWS GovCloud. You will build and refine features and tooling to ensure a secure, compliant experience for both government and commercial users.

As a senior member of the team, you will influence technical direction, mentor peers on secure patterns, and collaborate across product and design to meet government requirements while maintaining a strong, scalable platform.

Qualifications

• Roughly 7+ years as a professional software engineer with senior experience.
• Experience building software for security-sensitive or compliance-regulated environments is a strong plus.
• Main languages include Ruby and TypeScript; familiarity with Rails/React is valued.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and harden product features in a compliance-regulated cloud environment with strong security controls.
• Develop features for AWS GovCloud, including authentication, auditing, and compliance tooling.
• Create abstractions to enable GovCloud deployments without exposing sensitive infrastructure to developers.
• Mentor engineers on secure design patterns and governances for regulated environments.
• Support GovCloud SaaS and self-hosted customers, including on-call escalations and incident response.
