Job summary

Telos Corporation is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a security-focused team in Ashburn. You will contribute to a background check and identity verification platform deployed on AWS GovCloud, spanning frontend, .NET microservices, and cloud infrastructure.

You’ll own features, work across services, and grow into platform ownership. The role requires strong TS/JS with Angular, C#, .NET, REST APIs, and experience with AWS, CI/CD, testing, and security-conscious development.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience delivering production software.
• Strong TypeScript/JavaScript experience with Angular or similar SPA framework.
• Experience with C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core for REST APIs/microservices.
• Experience with relational databases and ORMs (EF Core, SQL Server).
• Experience with AWS services (ECS, ECR, S3, SQS/SNS) and Docker.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, test, and support production software using TypeScript, Angular, C#, .NET 8, ASP.NET Core, and EF Core.
• Develop features for the Angular web portal and multi-tenant enrollment workflows.
• Build and maintain .NET microservices for authentication, enrollment, and case management.
• Write unit/integration tests with Karma/Jasmine, Playwright, xUnit, FluentAssertions, and Testcontainers.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, Docker multi-stage builds, and container security scanning.
• Support deployments on AWS GovCloud (ECS, ECR, S3, RDS) and KMS.
• Collaborate with product, security, QA, and stakeholders; participate in code reviews.
