Job summary

Tines is hiring a Senior Site Reliability Engineer for Government Cloud to build and operate the AWS GovCloud environment serving federal customers. You will own the supporting services, tooling, and governance to ensure repeatable, auditable, and secure infrastructure from Foundation to deployment.

This role influences technical direction and requires collaboration with a strong engineering team. You will work remotely in the US with a preference for the Greater Boston Area, contributing to

Qualifications

• 5+ years in infrastructure, DevOps or cloud engineering
• Direct experience with AWS GovCloud is a strong plus
• Hands-on experience designing VPC architectures and encryption
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code like CDK or Terraform in regulated env
• Familiarity with FedRAMP, FISMA or similar compliance requirements
• Ability to document design decisions for assessment and audits
• Proficient in building secure, auditable production environments

Responsibilities

• Build and operate AWS GovCloud for federal customers from foundational networking to production-ready infrastructure
• Design and implement repeatable IaC to provision dedicated environments
• Own container image pipelines and hardening for GovCloud deployments
• Maintain observability, logging, and health of government environments
• Collaborate with assessment partners to produce docs and diagrams for FedRAMP
• Develop features that span commercial and government environments with restricted boundaries
• Produce runbooks and documentation for provisioning, incident response, and DR
