Job summary

Apple Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for Enterprise Technology Services in Sunnyvale, CA. You will join IS&T and help design and deliver scalable, low-latency enterprise platforms that power Apple’s operations and customer services.

You will collaborate across teams, own features from planning through design to delivery, and ensure robust, well-tested code. Strong Java, SOA, and database skills are essential; Kubernetes and React experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• Excellent Java development experience with focus on reliability, scalability and performance.
• 5+ years experience developing Java/J2EE applications.
• Solid object-oriented design and patterns knowledge.
• Experience building distributed WebServices using SOA.
• Experience with Oracle database design, SQL and PL/SQL.
• Experience with failover/replication strategies.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.
