Job summary

Reinventing Geospatial, Inc. (RGi) is a fast-paced geospatial software firm serving Defense, Intelligence and Federal clients. You will design, develop, test, and integrate capabilities across complex systems, collaborating in agile teams and delivering production-ready code.

Applicants need 5+ years in software development, strong skills in Python/Java/JavaScript, and experience with microservices, Docker/Kubernetes, and AWS. US citizenship is required for roles needing clearances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of software development experience across all SDLC phases.
• Experience with modern languages (Python, Ruby, Java, JavaScript, etc.).
• Experience with microservices and web frameworks.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and rapid prototyping.
• US Citizenship and ability to obtain SCI access and CI Polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design, development, testing, and integration of new capabilities.
• Integrate services across enterprise while meeting stakeholder needs.
• Participate in daily standups, sprint and release planning with team members.
• Document software and user instructions as needed.
• Work in microservice architectures and containerized environments.
