Job summary

Gravitee, a leader in API and AI governance, seeks a Senior Software Engineer to build product experiences and the APIs behind them. You will turn operational data into clear visualizations and help customers configure APIs and AI agents.

As AI Agent Management expands, you will help create interfaces for configuring AI Gateways, governing MCP, and agent interactions, while contributing to both the open-source and Enterprise Edition.

Qualifications

• Significant experience building and operating full-stack applications in production.
• Strong Java experience and REST API design.
• Strong TypeScript frontend experience with a component-based framework.
• Experience building data-rich UIs and visualizations.
• Understanding of API design, data modeling, distributed systems, and async workflows.
• Experience with automated testing, Git-based development, and code reviews.
• Experience with MongoDB/OpenSearch or similar data stores/search tech.
• Hands-on with LLMs or AI coding tools in an engineering workflow.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver features end to end from discovery to production.
• Build responsive interfaces and data visualizations with TypeScript and Angular.
• Design and develop Java-based APIs and services.
• Contribute to Gravitee's gateway runtime with asynchronous patterns.
• Help configure AI Gateways, MCP tools, and agent interactions.
• Model and transform data to make platform behavior understandable.
• Contribute to open-source and Enterprise Edition.
• Use LLMs for prototyping, testing, debugging, and exploration.
• Write meaningful automated tests and ensure reliable delivery.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and leaders.
