Job summary

American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, INC. seeks a Senior Software Engineer to drive multiple software projects through the full SDLC. The role emphasizes web, web services, and Windows services with modern design, secure coding, and agile practices. Hybrid work requires about 40% in-office presence at the Dallas center.

The candidate will lead technical design, support cross-functional teams, and guide projects with strong communication skills and hands-on development experience.

Qualifications

• BS or BA in CS, CIS, MIS or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/CIS/MIS.
• 5+ years in full lifecycle software development in an Agile shop.
• 5+ years with .NET web interfaces and services.
• 5+ years with SQL Server: queries, views, stored procedures.
• 3–5 years with C#, Vue, SQL, HTML.
• Experience with AI development tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code).
• Experience with data modeling and table design.
• Experience with iOS or Android app development.

Responsibilities

• Deliver software across the full SDLC from requirements to support.
• Develop secure, scalable, maintainable software solutions.
• Create designs, diagrams, specs to document solutions.
• Produce technical designs and contribute to architecture decisions.
• Integrate components into SOA-based systems.
• Execute projects per plan and standards.
• Troubleshoot and optimize existing systems; RCA as needed.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into solutions.
• Apply AI-assisted development tools where appropriate under security controls.
• Provide guidance and knowledge sharing to team members.
