Job summary

Press Ganey Associates LLC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support Clinical Solutions products. The role focuses on front-end and API development, data engineering, and mentoring teammates in an agile environment.

You will design and implement enhancements in a hybrid US setting, participate in releases, and collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure high-quality, reliable software delivery.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of SQL with MS SQL Server and AI-first planning, development, and testing.
• Knowledge of basic statistics.
• Strong software engineering on the .Net Core platform with Web front-end tech (Angular/React, JavaScript, CSS).
• Experience with JSON and API development methodologies.
• Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• CI/CD experience, GitLab preferred.
• Experience with test-driven development.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of agile methodologies and working in an agile environment.
• Bachelor’s degree or comparable experience; advanced training/certification advantageous.
• 6+ years as a Data Engineer/DBA and 6+ years in software development.
• Code reviews and ability to communicate best practice solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement front-end enhancements and bug fixes per instructions.
• Participate in iteration and release planning.
• Adhere to design and testing principles and update specs as needed.
• Understand detailed technical specs and follow standards.
• Mentor developers and coordinate with IT and business teams.
• Provide support and issue resolution; train others on standards and procedures.
