Rivers Agile specializes in building software products for small- to medium-sized businesses primarily from our home office. As a “product company for hire,” we form small teams tasked with the full lifecycle development of software products. Our engineers are central to this process. We seek engineers who are lifelong learners, passionate about their craft, and defined by their unique personality, experience, and style.

Location

Our headquarters is in the North Hills area of Pittsburgh, PA. Most employees work remotely and visit the office for infrequent meetings. Local candidates are preferred.

Technical Skills

• 7+ years of experience in software development
• Strong experience in architecting and developing test automation from unit to system level, with heterogeneous target software in C++, C#, TypeScript/Node, and scripting languages
• Proficient with server-side technologies such as .NET, Node.js, TypeScript, Python, Java, etc.
• Intermediate or higher experience in C++, C#, or TypeScript development
• Ability to integrate legacy components with modern tooling for robust CI/CD pipelines
• Proficiency with Github, Jenkins, and other CI/CD and testing tools
• Experience with testing frameworks like Google Test, MS Test, etc.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
• Experience with modern web frameworks like React, Vue.js, Angular is a plus
• Experience with embedded software or robotics is a plus
