Job summary

RTX is seeking a software professional for Air C2 mission critical applications in an onsite role at Fullerton, CA. The candidate will contribute to design, implementation, testing, and maintenance within a cross-functional team and DevSecOps environment.

The role requires a STEM degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience, with strong Java OO design, database integration, and the ability to obtain security clearance. Citizenship is required for clearance eligibility.

• Experience in software engineering in the Command & Control mission planning domain.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, ability to work effectively within large, cross-functional teams.
• Knowledgeable in JavaScript / TypeScript, with experience in building dynamic and responsive frontend UI applications.
• Experience with asynchronous communication patterns, particularly using Message Brokering platforms, WebSockets or similar technologies.
• Experience with modern web UI frameworks such as Angular, Vue.js, or React, and a solid understanding component-based architecture.
• Experience working with a range of infrastructure and platforms
• Experience with one or more scripting languages
• Experience with reactive programming paradigms and frameworks for building scalable, event-driven applications.

• The salary range for this role is 95,500 USD - 181,700 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
