Job summary

RIVO Holdings, LLC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to advance our proprietary Loan Management System (LMS). You will design, develop, and modernize a fintech platform, collaborating with Product, QA, DevOps, and Engineering teams to deliver scalable, reliable software.

The role requires deep technical depth, system thinking, and ownership mindset. This is a fully on-site position with no sponsorship or visa transfer available; salary is market-competitive for a senior engineer in San Diego.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• 5+ years designing and building enterprise-scale applications.
• Experience modernizing legacy or home-grown software platforms.
• Experience developing and supporting high-availability production systems.
• Experience with microservices architecture, distributed systems, and event-driven design.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable solutions for the LMS.
• Modernize architecture and engineering patterns.
• Identify opportunities to improve performance, reliability, and maintainability.
