Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and evolve full-stack systems powering financial products. You’ll own projects end-to-end, from technical design through production, and mentor engineers.

Our stack uses TypeScript/Node.js microservices on Kubernetes with React front ends. You’ll work across the stack, collaborate with other pods, and leverage AI coding tools to move fast while maintaining quality.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience across backend and frontend.
• Strong TypeScript/Node.js production experience.
• Experience with React and building REST/GraphQL APIs.
• Relational DB design with PostgreSQL.
• Experience in a microservices environment.
• Hands-on with AI-assisted development tools (Copilot, etc.).
• Cloud experience (AWS) and familiarity with Kubernetes.
• Focus on testing, code quality, and maintainability.

Responsibilities

• Lead design of medium-to-large features across the stack.
• Develop TS/Node.js microservices and React UIs.
• Use AI coding tools in daily workflow with sound judgment.
• Drive delivery from design through deployment.
• Ensure code quality via thorough reviews and tests.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers.
• Collaborate across pods and manage on-call responses.
• Address technical debt and uphold long-term health of systems.
