Job summary

Mercury Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to own large-scale systems end-to-end, from architecture to delivery. You will work on the Cards Integration stack, improving reliability and customer experience across debit and credit card platforms.

You will lead features across the stack, mentor teammates, and partner with product, design, operations, risk, and sales to move initiatives forward. Strong ownership and collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

Experience delivering end-to-end projects from idea to launch.
Ability to articulate architecture decisions and trade-offs.
Comfort with working across multiple teams and functions.

Responsibilities

Lead projects from idea to tech spec to implementation to launch, with PM/EM/tech lead input.
Learn how debit and credit card systems work (authorization, clearing, settlement, disputes).
Build features across the stack from card experiences to backend money movement systems.
Help keep operations excellent with strong observability and reliability.
Mentor engineers and raise engineering quality through reviews and collaboration.
Work with product, design, operations, risk, compliance, sales, and other teams.
