Flatiron Health is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead the eRx modernization in OncoEMR. You will guide design and delivery, breaking large problems into tickets and milestones while ensuring clinicians can prescribe with less friction.

You will write and review code in C#, VB.NET, and React, mentor engineers, and collaborate with clinical experts to build safe, scalable prescribing workflows that meet regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of production software experience with leadership in a project or team.
• Experience building full-stack web apps and modern front-end interfaces.
• Ability to design and deliver complex multi-team projects from planning to rollout.
• Strong communication and collaborative skills across product, design, QA, and clinical teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design and delivery of eRx modernization across the stack.
• Move from legacy WebForms/VB.NET to React micro-frontends and .NET services.
• Partner with product, design, QA, and clinical experts to implement workflows.
• Build and test safety-critical prescribing workflows meeting ONC and DEA/EPCS requirements.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews, pairing, and feedback, including AI tooling usage.
• Deliver design through rollout within the first year with reliable shipping.
