Job summary

LPL Financial LLC is seeking a Senior Engineer, Software Developer to design and implement enterprise web applications, including frontend, WebAPI, and backend data storage for portfolio accounting. You will estimate efforts, coordinate plans, and collaborate with a Product Owner to refine user stories.

Responsibilities include building scalable data integration using AWS, .NET, and Angular, guiding design decisions, and ensuring robust CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field with five (5) years in the role within financial services.
• Alternatively: Master's degree with three (3) years in the role within financial services.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise web applications (frontend, WebApi, and backend for portfolio accounting).
• Estimate efforts for new features and modifications.
• Coordinate development plans with other developers for mid-sized features.
• Work with Product Owner to plan user stories and implementations.
• Lead design decisions with technical team leadership and subject matter expertise.
• Build, deploy, and support high-quality software for internal and external customers.
• Design scalable data integration solutions using AWS, .NET, Angular, and AWS components.
