Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years of software development delivering enterprise applications.
  • 3+ years of cloud technology experience (AWS or similar).
  • 6+ years with .NET, Angular, JavaScript, and database tech.
  • Experience with Agile or similar SDLC methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, enhance, and support cloud-native web applications and enterprise platforms using .NET, Angular, JavaScript, SQL Server, and cloud technologies.
  • Partner with Product Owners/Managers to translate requirements into technical solutions and deliver value via Agile sprints.
  • Develop high-volume, low-latency, highly available applications supporting mission-critical functions.
  • Assess technical risks and recommend solution alternatives aligning with business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation per SDLC standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to support enhancements, issue resolution, and ongoing product support.
  • Participate in platform modernization, architecture discussions, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Support software quality through code reviews, testing, and adherence to engineering standards.

Job Overview

The Senior Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting cloud-native web applications and enterprise solutions using modern Microsoft, web, and cloud technologies. This role works closely with business and technology partners to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions while contributing to platform architecture, software development, testing, documentation, and ongoing support activities.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, enhance, and support cloud-native web applications and enterprise platforms using .NET, Angular, JavaScript, SQL Server, and cloud technologies.
  • Partner with Product Owners and Product Managers to translate business requirements into technical solutions and deliver value through Agile sprint execution.
  • Contribute to the development of high-volume, low-latency, and highly available applications that support mission-critical business functions.
  • Assess technical risks, identify solution alternatives, and provide recommendations to support technology and business objectives.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 6+ years of software development experience delivering enterprise applications and technology solutions.
  • 3+ years of experience working with cloud technologies such as AWS or similar cloud platforms.
  • 6+ years of experience with a combination of .NET, Angular, JavaScript, and database technologies.
  • Experience working within Agile or other software development lifecycle methodologies to deliver technology solutions.
Core Competencies
  • Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts, software design patterns, and data modeling principles.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience designing, refactoring, testing, and maintaining enterprise software applications.
  • Knowledge of software delivery processes, source control, build automation, and deployment practices.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
  • Ability to influence, coach, and collaborate with team members to drive successful outcomes.
Preferences
  • Experience with API Management platforms and API-led architecture.
  • Experience with AWS containerization, serverless technologies, and cloud-native application development.
  • Experience with GitHub Actions, Octopus Deploy, CI/CD automation, and DevOps practices.
  • Experience with responsive web design, CSS, Semantic HTML, and modern front-end development techniques.
  • Experience working within Financial Services, Wealth Management, or FinTech environments.
Pay Range:

$106,100.00 - $176,900.00

Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
