Job summary

LPL Financial LLC in Austin, TX seeks a Senior Engineer, Software Developer to design and build enterprise web applications using Angular, WebAPI, .NET and AWS.

You will work with Product Owner to estimate features, implement SPAs, write tests, and participate in all development phases from design to deployment. The role involves collaboration with business partners and exposure to a modern CI/CD environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field with five years of experience in software development in financial services.
• Master's degree in CS/Engineering/IT with three years of experience in a related role in financial services (alternative to above).
• Expertise with Angular SPAs, WebAPI/.NET Core or .NET Framework, and SQL databases (MSSQL, MySQL, MongoDB); experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud/on‑prem deployment.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise web applications (frontend, middleware WebAPI, backend) for portfolio accounting.
• Estimate effort for new features and modifications; plan and coordinate with developers.
• Collaborate with Product Owner to refine and plan user stories; ensure scalable, testable solutions.
