Job summary

LPL Financial LLC is seeking a Senior Engineer, Software Developer to design and deliver enterprise web applications for portfolio accounting. You will build frontend SPAs in Angular, WebAPI services, and backend data integrations using AWS and .NET technologies.

You will work with product owners to plan user stories, estimate effort, and coordinate with other developers to implement mid-sized features. The role offers up to 40% telecommuting and a competitive rewards package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field (5 years in financial services) or Master's degree (3 years) in same fields.
• Experience with SPA front-ends, WebAPI services or MVC in .Net Core/Framework, and cloud/on-prem deployment.
• Strong SQL skills with MSSQL/MySQL/MongoDB and data structures to support development.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git, TFS).

Responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise web applications (frontend, middleware WebApi, backend DB) for portfolio accounting.
• Estimate effort for new features and coordinate with developers to implement mid-sized features.
• Collaborate with Product Owner to plan user stories and sprints.
• Lead design decisions with technical leadership and build, deploy, and support high-quality software.
• Develop scalable data integration using AWS, .Net, Angular, and other AWS components.
• Develop and maintain Angular SPAs and WebAPI services; write unit tests and integrate CI/CD pipelines.
• Document development stories and concepts; gather requirements from business partners.
