Job summary

Liquidity Services Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Web Developer to build new applications and enhance existing products using Angular and the .NET stack on Azure.

You will contribute to design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation for multi-tenant, high‑concurrency web solutions. The role requires strong Agile/Scrum experience, SaaS on a PaaS Azure platform, and business domain knowledge in e-commerce and back‑office functions.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience on the Microsoft .NET web stack.
• Advanced, hands‑on experience with Angular, including DOM, selectors, traversals, AJAX implementations, event binding, and testing with tools like Firebug and Postman.
• Experience with common design and code patterns (e.g., dependency injection, singleton, factories).
• Experience on high‑concurrency public web applications.
• Experience implementing best practices for code construction and web app security.
• Familiarity with the Bootstrap framework.
• Experience with agile development environments and Scrum methodology a plus.
• Business domain experience in e‑commerce and/or back-office applications a plus.
• Experience writing unit tests in an MVC environment a plus.
• Experience working in an Azure environment a plus.
• Hands‑on experience with highly secured enterprise‑level applications a plus.
• Experience writing multi‑threaded applications in .NET a plus.
• Experience optimizing a slow running application for performance.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and provide solutions for complex software development tasks, with design documentation.
• Collaborate with the product owner and technical lead to understand requirements.
• Understand the business context to grasp why work is needed, not just what.
• Work with developers, QA, and product owner in an agile Scrum setup to deliver high‑quality solutions.
• Provide accurate estimates for sprint work items.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure quality.
• Support production issues with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Maintain organization, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Demonstrate strong analytical, problem‑solving, and coding creativity.
• Follow architectural and coding standards, including defensive programming.
