Empower LLC seeks a Senior Software Engineer with 5+ years in enterprise reporting, data analytics, and cloud data platforms to lead modernization efforts. You will work with Data Architects and stakeholders to design scalable reporting solutions, optimize data pipelines, and ensure governance and security across platforms.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, collaboration, and hands-on development in modern BI environments and cloud data services.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, Engineering, Data Analytics, or related field or equivalent experience.
5+ years in software engineering, enterprise reporting, BI, data warehousing, or analytics.
Strong experience designing and modernizing enterprise reporting solutions.

Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership for report discovery, modernization, and migration.
Analyze reporting landscape to identify duplicates and critical reports.
Lead transformation of legacy reports into modern analytics solutions.
Ensure reporting aligns with data architecture, security, governance, and performance.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and data dependencies.
Translate requirements into scalable designs, data models, and ETL plans.
Design and optimize data pipelines, datasets, and reporting structures.
Document data lineage, transformations, and report dependencies.
Define testing strategies including data reconciliation and performance testing.
Mentor engineers on modern reporting and cloud data platforms.
