Job summary

Salesforce is seeking an Enterprise Security Engineer to design and operate scalable IAM services with a focus on secure AI-enabled workflows. You will build backend services, APIs, and frontend experiences while enforcing zero trust and privilege controls across cloud and on-prem environments.

You should bring 5+ years in distributed SaaS/IaaS, strong Java/Go/Python skills, and deep IAM knowledge. Remote-ready, with a bias toward security-first development and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building distributed SaaS/IaaS systems.
• Knowledge of IAM lifecycle, auth, and RBAC.
• Experience with REST APIs and service integrations.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate IAM services and APIs across identity lifecycle and access management.
• Implement PAM capabilities with vaulting, rotation, and time-bound entitlements.
• Model non-human identities including service accounts and machine credentials.
• Develop full-stack features and secure SDLC practices.
• Work with Kubernetes, Docker, and IaC (Terraform) in a DevOps model.
• Integrate systems using SCIM, REST, and event-driven patterns.
• Collaborate with governance to embed SoD, least privilege, and SOX/NIST/SOC 2 controls.
• Mentor engineers and drive technical direction across the platform.
• Write documentation and runbooks for enablement and operations.
