Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a senior software engineer for its IAM team to design and operate scalable identity services and APIs across enterprise environments. You will drive full-stack development from backend services to user interfaces, focusing on secure, reliable access management at scale.

You will contribute to PAM, non-human identities, and AI-enabled workflows, collaborating with security, infra, and product teams to advance zero-trust architecture and governance standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development in SaaS/PaaS/IaaS environments.
• Strong backend in Java, Go, or Python and frontend in React.
• Deep IAM knowledge: identity lifecycle, RBAC, and entitlements.
• Experience designing REST APIs and integrating heterogeneous systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate scalable IAM services and APIs for identity lifecycle and access management.
• Develop PAM capabilities including vaulting, rotation, and time-bound entitlements.
• Model non-human identities (service accounts, workloads) and lifecycle governance.
• Create full-stack features and admin experiences for IAM.
• Work with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform; maintain DevOps practices and monitoring.
• Integrate across identity sources using SCIM, REST, and event-driven patterns.
• Embed SoD, least-privilege, and audit controls (SOX, NIST, SOC 2) into the platform.
• Contribute to system design reviews and secure SDLC; document runbooks and enablement materials.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure platform integrity and trustworthiness.
• Push AI-first development, evaluate AI outputs for security and reliability.
