Job summary

Vast is hiring a Senior Software Engineer, Enterprise Applications to design and build front-end and back-end systems for mission-critical enterprise software used in the Haven Station program. You will collaborate with engineers across disciplines to deliver scalable, data-rich applications that support space research and manufacturing.

Lead optimization, API design, and multi-language tech stacks while mentoring junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 6+ years of software development experience.
• Experience delivering data-intensive full-stack applications.
• Strong API design and multi-language development capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement web applications using modern frontends and application servers.
• Develop backends including data modeling, APIs, and pipelines.
• Rapidly iterate on tooling and design as the company grows.
• Adopt scalable software practices for a large codebase and team.
