GE Vernova, Inc. is hiring a Software Engineer to design, develop, and evolve components for Wholesale Electricity Market Management (MMS) applications. You will work within an 8–15 engineer team, solving complex energy market challenges in a mission-critical environment.

The role requires a Bachelor's in a STEM field, 3 years of software development, and 2 years in the Energy domain. Strong Java/Python skills, SQL databases, and CI/CD experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related STEM field.
• 3 years of professional software development experience.
• 2 years of experience in Energy domain (Energy Management/Power Systems/Wholesale Electricity Markets).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and evolve software components for MMS applications.
• Contribute to design discussions and code reviews.
• Estimate tasks, deliver high-quality code in an Agile environment.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve MMS issues in development and production.
• Collaborate to translate requirements into scalable, maintainable solutions.
• Maintain code quality with unit tests and automation.
