Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience with end-to-end ownership.
• Strong Java proficiency and ability to design, build, and debug Java-based services.
• Excellent debugging and analysis across frontend, backend, and data layers.
• Hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.
• Solid experience with PostgreSQL, including queries and execution plans.
• Familiarity with queuing systems and API integrations (Redis/Resque, JSON-based systems, or similar).
• Ability to balance competing priorities and manage roadmap work with escalations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; English proficiency required.
• Ability to work independently and with distributed, international remote teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Receive and own pre-triaged, escalated customer issues from the Customer Support team and drive them to resolution
• Debug and diagnose complex production and integration problems across the full stack
• Identify root causes and implement durable fixes - not just workarounds
• Communicate proactively with stakeholders on issue status, timelines, and resolution plans
• Document findings and contribute to internal knowledge bases to reduce repeat escalations
• Collaborate with teammates to formulate detailed designs, implement solutions from requirements, and estimate effort
• Participate in agile product development, including sprint planning, code reviews, and retrospectives
• Adhere to test-driven development practices and maintain high standards for code quality
• Support product deployments, configuration, and post-release validation
