Job summary

Kaleris, a private equity-backed software firm in Atlanta, seeks a Senior Software Engineer to own end-to-end features and serve as a technical escalation point for critical customer issues. You will collaborate with product, engineering, and customer success teams to deliver robust Java-based services, apply TDD, and maintain high code quality through reviews.

This role supports our yard management and finished-vehicles logistics platforms, shaping the roadmap while delivering tangible customer

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience with end-to-end feature ownership.
• Strong Java proficiency for building services and features.
• Excellent debugging and analytical skills across frontend, backend, and data layers.
• Hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.
• Solid PostgreSQL experience with queries and execution plans.
• Experience with queuing systems and API integrations (Redis/Resque, REST/JSON).

Responsibilities

• Own escalated customer issues from triage to resolution and communicate timelines.
• Contribute to roadmap development and collaborate in agile sprints with QA and product.
