Job summary

KBX, a Koch company, seeks a Senior Software Engineer in Atlanta to design and deliver scalable AI-powered software for transportation and logistics platforms. You will own full-stack development, API design, and modern frontend work, collaborating with product and business partners to transform complex problems into production-ready solutions.

You will mentor engineers, improve observability, and lead architectural discussions while implementing best practices in code quality and security.

Qualifications

• Experience leveraging AI-powered development tools and solutions, including LLMs and agentic systems, while ensuring outputs meet quality, security, maintainability, and business value.
• Experience designing, developing, and maintaining software applications using .NET and related frameworks.
• Experience on backend services, APIs, integrations, data access patterns, and user-facing features.
• Experience developing user-facing features using modern frontend frameworks.
• Experience designing and developing APIs, integrations, service-oriented solutions, and translating business requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience supporting applications through the full software development lifecycle.
• Experience collaborating with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to deliver software from discovery to production.
• Experience delivering software through small, cross-functional teams with ownership and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Managers, Tech Leads, and stakeholders to clarify problems and deliver valuable outcomes.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications and services across backend and frontend components.
• Lead architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical decisions to uphold engineering standards.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance to resolve complex challenges.
• Improve performance, scalability, reliability, and observability of applications.
• Troubleshoot and maintain existing applications, resolving production issues.
