Job summary

Syms Strategic Group (SSG) is seeking a Senior Software Developer for a 100% remote role based in the United States. The position requires 8+ years in EDI, healthcare, or enterprise applications with strong EDIFECS and AWS experience. Candidates must be U.S.

citizens and able to obtain a Public Trust security clearance. You will administer and optimize the Edifecs platform, configure XEServer/XEngine/TPM/SpecBuilder, and collaborate across DevSecOps, cloud, and business teams to deliver reliable

Qualifications

Deep hands-on EDIFECS experience required.
Extensive AWS cloud environment experience.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement.
Experience with EDIFECS components: XEServer, XEngine, TPM, SpecBuilder.

Responsibilities

Administer, configure, troubleshoot, and enhance the Edifecs platform, ensuring reliable EDI processing.
Configure and maintain XEServer, XEngine, TPM, SpecBuilder and related modules.
Build, deploy, and optimize Edifecs processing rules, routing logic, and batch workflows.
Analyze and resolve mapping issues, validation failures, defects, and performance bottlenecks.
Manage JVM tuning, system logging, and certificate/keystore configurations.
Support releases, environment refreshes, patches, and upgrades.
Collaborate with EDI Analysts, DevSecOps, Cloud teams, and business units.
