Innovative Systems & Solutions (ISSI) is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain complex analytics-driven software for DoD and federal clients. The role emphasizes real-time, processing-intensive systems and collaboration with system engineers and software teams.

Qualifications

• 14+ years of SWE experience in programs/contracts of similar scope and complexity
• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements
• Design and code new software or modify existing software to add features
• Debug existing software and correct defects
• Develop or implement algorithms to meet performance standards
• Coordinate software system installation and monitor equipment functioning

Responsibilities

• Works individually or as part of a team
• Reviews and tests software components for adherence to design requirements and documents test results
• Resolves software problem reports
• Provides input to software components of system design including trade-offs
• Lead software development teams per process in use
• Develop software solutions by analyzing system performance and data usage
