Job summary

Innovative Systems & Solutions is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (FFPP-8775) for an on-site role in Annapolis Junction, MD. The engineer will develop, maintain, and optimize complex software systems including analytics, real-time processing, and large data-set manipulation.

Requires 7 years SWE experience, a BS in CS or related field, and skills in C++, Python or Golang, AI/ML, and high-performance GPU-enabled apps. Salary range 170–185k USD; benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Seven years of SWE experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Four years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
• Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features.
• Debug existing software and correct defects.

About the Role

The Software Engineer develops, maintains, and enhancescomplex and diverse software systems (e.g.,processing-intensive analytics,novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets,real-time systems, and business management information systems) based upondocumented requirements.

In support of the Inference Processing Team, sourcing for SWE1 candidate withexperience with the below:
AI/ML development or integration experience
Terraform experience with AWS
C++, Python and/or Golang
Experience with writing high-performance / GPU-enabled applications
Experience with large-scale streaming data analytic systems

Modify existing software to correct errors, to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance
Design, develop and modify software systems, using scientific analysis andmathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design

Salary Range 170-185,000
