Job summary

ARES Corporation is seeking a Software Engineer in Colorado Springs, CO, to support NORAD/NCMC-ITW/AA and CCIC2S Enterprise Networks. This full-time role includes working on mission-critical, secure systems with 10–20% travel to CONUS/OCONUS locations and potential telework for local candidates.

The position requires a DoD Secret clearance eligibility, a bachelor’s degree with extensive DoD experience or a master/doctoral degree with related experience, and proficiency in Java, Perl, Visual

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field with DoD experience or equivalent.
• 10–12 years in the respective technical discipline with DoD experience preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of software development lifecycle and agile development.

Responsibilities

• Develops software using languages listed and follows industry best practices.
• Creates documentation: test plans, reports, and procedures.
• Supports agile scenario development and analysis for test communities.
• Coordinates with government leads and vendors on simulations and tools.
