Job summary

ARES is recruiting for a Software Engineer to support NORAD Cheyenne Mountain Complex and CCIC2S Enterprise Networks at Peterson SFB, Colorado. The role requires DoD clearance and involves agile development, analysis of simulation requirements, and coding in Python 3, Java, Perl and MATLAB.

This full-time position offers telework flexibility for local candidates, with travel up to 10–20% to CONUS/OCONUS locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field and 12 years of experience in the respective technical discipline including 5 years of DoD experience.
• Master’s or Doctorate Degree in related field and 10 years of experience including 5 years of DoD experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop software for DoD mission systems using languages such as Java, Perl, Python 3 and MATLAB.
• Participate in agile development, analyze requirements, and create/test scenarios for verification.
• Document test plans and results, and ensure code quality with industry best practices.
