Job summary

ASRC Federal is seeking highly motivated Software Engineers to support the Navy's Aegis Weapons System in Moorestown, NJ. You will work in a collaborative agile team to develop maintenance and upgrade solutions for tactical systems across the software lifecycle.

The role requires a bachelor's degree or higher and the ability to obtain a government secret clearance. You will work with Java, C++, and Python, have experience with Linux/UNIX, IDEs like Eclipse, and UML, and participate in

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or related field
8-10 years in software development, maintenance, or support in an Open/Layered Architecture Environment
Experience with Java, C++, or Python
Experience with Agile scaled principles
Experience with OO design and Design Patterns
Experience with Linux/UNIX environments
Strong IDE experience (Eclipse) and UML familiarity
Experience with test environments and driver-based testing

Responsibilities

Develop software maintenance and upgrade solutions for tactical systems in an agile team
Engage in all activities of the software development lifecycle and support required reviews
