Job summary

ASRC Federal is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Colorado Springs, CO to lead front-end and back-end enhancements for mission-critical systems. The role requires DoD Secret clearance and proficiency in C, C++, C#, .NET, and SQL Server, with strong technical writing skills.

The candidate will work with cross-functional teams including System and Business Analysts to design, develop, test, and maintain software that meets strict standards and interfaces with backend systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with relevant experience.
• DoD Secret clearance required.
• Experience with C, C++, and multiple software languages including C#, .NET, SQL Server.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs application software.
• Analyzes user needs and system capabilities; designs and develops software and autonomous services.
• Contributes to GUI design and frontend/backend integration.
• Performs testing including functional and regression tests.
• Coordinates enhancements, bug fixes and prioritizes work across teams.
• Collaborates with analysts and other development teams in a team environment.
