Job summary

ASRC Federal Holding Company is seeking an experienced .NET Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications in Washington, DC. The role emphasizes backend services, system integration, and automation to enable secure data exchange and workflows.

The candidate will work on REST/SOAP interfaces, XML/JSON data sharing, PowerShell or Python scripting, and data access optimization, with a focus on reliability and security for mission-critical operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technical field.
• Hands-on experience with C#, .NET Framework/.NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, Web API.
• Experience with REST, SOAP, XML, JSON, and data exchange formats.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain .NET applications (C#, .NET Framework / .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, Web API).
• Develop and integrate web services and system interfaces (REST, SOAP, XML, JSON).
• Create automation scripts (PowerShell, Python) to improve efficiency.
• Build and support data integration workflows between systems.
• Query data, write SQL, and optimize database access for performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into solutions.
• Maintain SharePoint components and integrations as needed.
• Develop secure data sharing methods across Microsoft 365, Azure, and external APIs.
• Troubleshoot issues across applications and integration points.
• Document designs, mappings, and procedures; participate in releases.
