Job summary

SteerBridge seeks Software Engineers to support delivery efforts for the F-35 project. The role focuses on modernizing security, reliability, and operational efficiency.

Ideal candidates are quick learners, curious, innovative, and results-oriented with strong interpersonal skills. Minimum 8 years of full-stack experience, U.S. citizenship, and an active Secret clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent experience.
• Active Secret security clearance or ability to obtain one.
• Minimum 8 years of full-stack software engineering experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in cross-functional environments.
• Proficiency in the PERN/MERN stack.
• Experience deploying and monitoring web apps using AWS and Docker.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience operationalizing machine learning solutions.
• Ability to guide junior team members in writing clean, maintainable code.

Responsibilities

• Support empirical product development, including grooming the Product Backlog.
• Ensure team communication and understanding of each Sprint.
• Inform the planning process to maximize value and identify impediments.
• Practice agility and iterative improvement.
• Mentor junior developers to produce clean, declarative code.
