Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Fort Worth seeks a software development professional to plan, conduct, and coordinate software development activities. You will design, develop, test, and debug software to solve business and mission problems with a focus on standardization and proper tooling.

This role requires an active DoD Secret Clearance, DoD 8140/8570 Level II certification, and hands-on experience with virtualization, containers, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), and scripting.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret Clearance required.
• DoD 8140/8570 Certification Level II (Security+ CE, CySA+, CISSP).
• Experience with deployment and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with virtualization (Hyper-V/VMware), containers, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and ITSM tools (Confluence, Jira, ServiceNow).
• Proficient in Python, Java, C++, and scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell).
• Availability for weekend and after-hours deployments.

Responsibilities

• Plan, conduct, and coordinate software development activities.
• Design, develop, document, test, and debug software to solve business/mission problems.
• Ensure software standards are met and appropriate tools are applied.
• Prepare operating instructions and documentation; analyze system capabilities.
• Support deployment across environments, including after-hours shifts.
