Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Fort Worth, Texas is seeking a qualified information systems professional to perform design, development, and analysis across Linux, storage, IT operations, and software integration in a classified environment. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, DoD 8570 IAT Level II or III certification, and an active Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain Top Secret.

Experience with Linux (RHEL), storage platforms, Windows, RMF/STIG, and vulnerability

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, a related field or equivalent work experience.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II or III certification (Security+, CASP, CISSP).
• Active Secret Clearance; ability and willingness to obtain Top Secret Clearance.
• Experience with Linux Operating Systems (Red Hat Linux 7/8/9).
• Experience with enterprise storage platforms (EMC, NetApp, Isilon).
• Basic experience with Windows Operating Systems (Windows 10/11).
• Basic experience with RMF requirements and STIG implementation.
• Basic experience with vulnerability remediation and security management (system hardening, log management, configuration management).
• Ability to troubleshoot complex RMF issues.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Engage in IT operations, systems integration, and software development activities as part of classified programs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement RMF/STIG controls and security improvements.
