Job summary

You will apply TDD, agile methods, and cutting-edge tools to build secure, scalable systems on Linux, with emphasis on API development and documentation. The role emphasizes autonomy, collaboration, and continuous learning in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Active DoD security clearance required.
• Proficiency with Palantir Foundry / Warp Core.
• 6–10 years of software development experience.
• Strong communication and collaboration in pair-programming environments.
• Experience using AI in software development.
• Experience with TDD and Agile methodologies and AI-assisted testing.
• Solid understanding of algorithms, architecture, databases, and design patterns.
• Frontend and backend development experience.
• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes and DevSecOps tools.
• API development and Linux environments familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Decompose business problems into clear, actionable specs for agentic development.
• Lead learning and adoption of new engineering approaches across teams.
• Collaborate with client developers, engineers, and military personnel to deliver value.
• Ensure weekly delivery with real-time user feedback and metrics.
• Manage tech debt and facilitate engineering discussions within the Rise8 product team.
