Airbnb is seeking an experienced distributed systems engineer to join the Transactional Storage Services team, responsible for Airbnb's online serving stores and databases. You will contribute to scalable storage internals and own critical parts of the system.

As a member of either the Database Kernel team or the Database Adoption team, you will work on distinct focuses with cross-functional collaboration, driving reliability and performance at scale.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building and operating large-scale distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with database or storage internals.
• Strong ownership and communication skills.
