Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to focus on web and mobile app development within the Digital Health Home team, leveraging C#, .NET, T-SQL and modern mobile tech stacks. You will collaborate across UI/UX, product and backend teams to deliver high-quality software across iOS and cross‑platform frameworks.

The role emphasizes hands-on design, development, and optimization in a fast-paced environment, with focus on security, performance, and adherence to best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience developing and maintaining applications using C# and ASP.NET.
• Experience with JavaScript, jQuery, HTML/CSS for front-end work.
• Experience developing mobile apps on iOS and knowledge of native (Swift/Obj-C) and cross-platform (Flutter, React Native, Xamarin).
• Strong understanding of mobile app architecture, design patterns, and RESTful APIs.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with front-end technologies like JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, HTML and CSS.
• Design, develop, and maintain mobile applications for iOS platform.
• Work with both native (Swift, Objective-C, Kotlin, Java) and cross-platform frameworks.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, and backend developers to deliver high-quality products.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize app performance.
• Ensure the security, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
