Job summary

Akina, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer I focused on AI to develop and integrate AI capabilities into CNO workflows.

You will build agentic integrations with Python, connect AI models and external APIs, and ensure scalable interoperability with MCP tools. You will work under senior engineers, refining tools and workflows, and collaborating with stakeholders to elicit requirements and deliver reliable, production-ready software.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python, JSON handling, REST APIs, and data manipulation.
• Experience accessing data via HTTP APIs and queries.
• Understanding of AI concepts including prompt engineering and tool calls.
• Familiarity with Git and Atlassian tools Jira/Confluence.
• Experience presenting data analysis results to customers.

Responsibilities

• Develop agentic integrations with Python leveraging AI models and data sources.
• Build tools and agentic workflows with frameworks like PydanticIA, Langgraph, and DeepAgents.
• Interact with mission stakeholders to elicit requirements and devise solutions.
• Navigate customer data types to identify and extract relevant information.
• Collaborate with engineers to test workflows and identify fixes.
