Job summary

Clever is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Devices team, driving integrations across iOS, macOS, Windows, and ChromeOS. You’ll work on platform SSO, native clients, and backend services to streamline login flows for schools and IT admins.

The role emphasizes leadership, architecture, and reliable, well-tested code. You will partner with Product and Design, mentor peers, and help shape scalable, secure identity solutions for education.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience building native apps for Windows; other platform experience (iOS, macOS, ChromeOS) is a plus.
• Experience with MDM platforms (Intune, Jamf) or Entra/Azure, or Apple School Manager integration.
• Proven ability to lead complex projects from design to deployment with stakeholders.
• Experience architecting end-to-end systems that handle diverse data requirements.
• Strong focus on modular, testable code, design patterns, and automated tests.
• Commitment to Clever engineering culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead work across native clients (Swift, C++) and the services behind them.
• Drive Platform SSO for macOS and other project milestones.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, IT admins, and Support to refine integrations.
• Mentor peers through code reviews and technical leadership.
• Ensure features are robust, maintainable, and well-tested.
