Job summary

Clever Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Devices team, building native integrations across iOS, macOS, Windows, and ChromeOS. You will contribute from backend services to native clients, shaping login and device onboarding at scale.

You will lead cross-functional projects, collaborate with product/design and IT admins, and mentor teammates to deliver reliable, secure sign-in experiences for schools nationwide.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience with a strong foundation in software principles and device-centric work.
• Professional experience building native apps for Windows; experience on iOS, macOS, or ChromeOS is a plus.
• Experience with MDM platforms (Intune, Jamf), Entra/Azure, or Apple School Manager integration.
• Proven ability to lead complex projects from design to deployment with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience architecting end-to-end systems that solve complex product needs.
• Strong emphasis on modular, testable code, design patterns, and automated tests (unit and end-to-end).
• Demonstrated commitment to Clever's engineering culture and values.
