Job summary

Anthropic is seeking a Data Center Security Engineer to own the software platform that runs in data centers, enabling end-to-end security signal processing from sensors to analyst dashboards.

You will design event buses, analytics pipelines including vision processing, integrate with vendors, and work across sites with on-call rotation. Proficiency in Python/Go/Rust and Kafka is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Experience designing and running event-driven backends in production.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or Rust with exposure to Kafka or similar.
• Ability to own a system end-to-end from design to production.

Responsibilities

• Design and build the event bus and normalized event schema to support sensors and systems.
• Build correlation and alerting to turn events into actionable alerts for analysts.
• Develop classification and analytics pipelines, including computer vision and multi-sensor fusion.
• Create analyst surfaces such as dashboards and video wall content for 24/7 operations.
• Deliver durable audit evidence, retention, and access controls across feeds.
