Job summary

Anthropic is seeking a Staff / Senior Software Engineer for the Security Fusion Platform to design and build the event-driven backend that turns sensor data into analyst-ready signals. You will own end-to-end delivery, from contracts with site sensors to production pipelines, with emphasis on reliability and security in a distributed data-center environment.

Qualifications

Experience building or operating a security operations platform or equivalent backend systems.
Experience designing and shipping event-driven architectures and analytics pipelines.
Ability to work with external vendors and integration partners; write acceptance criteria.

Responsibilities

Design and build the event bus and normalized event schema for sensor data.
Build correlation and alerting to produce analyst-ready signals.
Develop classification and analytics pipelines over multi-sensor data.
Create analyst surfaces (queues, dashboards, video viewers) and ensure audit evidence.
Instrument metrics, self-monitoring, and fail-secure behavior across feeds.
Deploy across data-center sites and coordinate with site-local components.
Define compute and network requirements for the platform.
Write vendor requirements and acceptance criteria; review deliverables.
